The editorial comparison of ANJ-licensed bookmakers.

Every week we review the sports betting operators that hold a French licence: the margins they apply, the depth of their markets, the quality of in-play, how fast support replies and which moderation tools they offer. No sponsored rankings.

What we measure

Four criteria, one identical scorecard for everyone.

Every operator goes through the same protocol. We open a real account, we record odds across a fixed sample of fixtures, we raise a ticket with customer support and we test every moderation tool until it is confirmed working.

01

Margins and odds

Weekly odds sampling across 40 benchmark fixtures, with the margin calculated market by market rather than taken from the operator’s claims.

02

In-play and cash-out

In-play odds latency, availability of partial cash-out, and the reliability of the event feed during high-audience fixtures.

03

French-language support

First-response time measured across three channels, at three different points in the week, using a genuine technical question.

04

Moderation and limits

How many clicks it takes to set a deposit limit, how quickly it applies, and how clear the self-exclusion journey and session reminders are.

Independence

An editorial team that does not sell its rankings.

We are paid through commercial links, like most comparison publications. The difference is one simple, written and enforceable rule: the scorecard is fixed before any commercial negotiation, and no operator can buy a position, a badge, or the removal of a negative point.

  • A public scorecard, applied identically to every operator
  • Weaknesses always published, including for our commercial partners
  • No operator without an ANJ licence appears on this site
  • Every review is re-read in full each quarter

Frequently asked

Answers to the questions we get most often.

How do I check that an operator really is licensed in France?

The Autorité Nationale des Jeux publishes and maintains the full list of licensed operators. Check the official ANJ register and search for the licence holder’s exact registered company name, not just the trading name on display.

Does PariSportCentral take bets?

No. We are an editorial publication: we take no bets, hold no customer funds and carry out no licensable activity. We publish comparative analysis only.

Is the ranking influenced by what you are paid?

No. Ratings come from a fixed scorecard applied before any commercial discussion. Our disclosure page sets out exactly how commercial links work.

What is the minimum age for betting in France?

18 years old. Licensed operators verify the identity of every account holder, and anyone listed on the gambling exclusion register held by the ANJ cannot open or use an account.
