Cookie policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie preferences” at the foot of the page.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a site. It can, among other things, remember a preference from one visit to the next or measure traffic. We also use browser local storage, which is subject to the same consent rules.
2. Our principle
In line with the GDPR and the CNIL’s recommendations, no non-essential tracker is set before your explicit consent. The consent panel shown on your first visit offers two choices of equal weight: Accept or Reject. Rejecting does not restrict your access to the site’s content in any way.
3. Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| pe_consent_v1 | Stores your acceptance or rejection so the panel is not shown again | 12 months | Exempt (strictly necessary) |
| pe_session | Maintains technical consistency of navigation and form protection | Session | Exempt (strictly necessary) |
| pe_stats | Aggregated audience measurement: pages viewed, average duration, device type — with no individual identification | 13 months | Required |
4. What we do not do
- No third-party advertising cookie, no social network pixel, no programmatic ad network.
- No behavioural profiling, no personalised ad targeting.
- No sale, rental or provision of data to data brokers.
- No consent wall: the content stays fully accessible after a rejection.
5. Links to operators
When you click a commercial link to an operator, that operator may set its own cookies on its own domain, under its own policy. Those are outside our control and fall under the privacy policy of the operator concerned, which we encourage you to read.
6. Managing your preferences
Three ways, which can be combined:
- Click “Cookie preferences” in the footer to reopen the panel and change your choice.
- Clear site data in your browser settings, which resets the panel.
- Configure your browser to block cookies generally (Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari all offer this in their privacy settings).
7. Contact
For any question about trackers: contact@parisportcentral.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
